Hastings on Hudson is a historic river village located on the eastern bank of the Hudson River approximately 16 miles north of Manhattan. It is a scenic 35 minute Metro North train ride along the Hudson River shoreline to Grand Central Station in New York City.
The Village of Hastings on Hudson is 2.9 square miles and is bordered to the north by the Village of Dobbs Ferry, to the south by the City of Yonkers, to the west by the Hudson River, and to the east by the Saw Mill River Road. The Village is nested within the Town of Greenburgh and the population is 7,849.
Hastings on Hudson is located on the banks of the Hudson River opposite the scenic Palisades cliffs.The Village has a very popular "downtown" with a supermarket and many interesting shops & restaurants.
