Dobbs Ferry is a historic river village located on the eastern bank of the Hudson River approximately 20 miles north of Manhattan. It is a scenic 35 minute Metro North train ride along the Hudson River shoreline to Grand Central Station in New York City.
The Village of Dobbs Ferry is 2.44 square miles and is bordered to the north by the Village of Irvington, to the south by the Village of Hastings on Hudson, to the west by the Hudson River, and to the east by the Saw Mill River Parkway (& the Village of Ardsley). The Village is nested within the Town of Greenburgh and the population is 10,875.
Dobbs Ferry is located on the banks of the Hudson River opposite the scenic Palisades cliffs. The Village has a very popular "downtown" with many interesting shops & restaurants and a major well-know supermarket.
